Job Summary
Conduct Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of information systems by executing DoW/DLA cybersecurity processes to authorize or maintain authorization status. Evaluate security controls aligned with NIST 800-53 across large enclaves, cloud services, and operational technology to determine residual risk for identified vulnerabilities. Brief senior management on Risk Management Framework (RMF) progress and results. Requires five years of C&A experience, active security clearance, and DoD 8570 Baseline Certification (Category IAM Level III). Located in Fort Belvoir, VA, this role supports IPTA's mission of solving real-world technology problems through collaborative, integrity-driven service.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of relevant C&A experience
- Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST C&A experience
- DOD cybersecurity experience
- Experience in assessing security controls and conducting authorization reviews for large, complex organizations
- Active security clearance
- DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAM Level III
