Job Summary
Product Manager in Cybersecurity Technology & Controls leads end-to-end product lifecycle, shaping strategy and vision, guiding discovery and market research, owning the product backlog, defining success metrics, and ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable product outcomes. The role acts as the voice of the customer, collaborates across cross-functional teams, drives secure-by-design practices (threat modelling, secure code reviews), and partners with vendors and stakeholders on regulatory engagements and risk management. Based in Plano, TX, the role emphasizes building secure, value-driven security products and maintaining comprehensive product documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product management or in end-to-end IT processes including architecture, design & engineering, implementation, and operations
- Advanced knowledge of the product development lifecycle, design, and data analytics with experience leading discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management for Network Security solutions
- Experience with agile Scrum development and Lean principles
- Advanced knowledge of Traditional Firewall, Cloud-based Web Application Firewall (WAF), and connectivity governance, including policy configuration, scaling, and automation
- Knowledge of public cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) from providers (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Understanding of Network Firewall Rules, Segmentation, IP addressing and ports/protocols
- Understanding of Network Security Standards and Frameworks (e.g., OWASP, Zero-Trust)
- Understanding of Orchestration, Automation and Integration of Network Security apps via API
- Understanding of other Network Security Controls (e.g., Firewall and Security Groups)
- Understanding of Platform Ops, DevSecOps, Hybrid cloud infrastructure, IAM around Network Security
- Understanding of a scripting language (Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell)
