Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Engineer

Job Summary
As a Sales Engineer for the Cloud Protection & Licensing portfolio, you will serve as the trusted technical advisor for LATAM accounts, leading the technical sales cycle from discovery through proof-of-value. You will design tailored architectures, conduct compelling product demonstrations, and articulate how Thales’ security solutions address customers’ application security and data protection challenges. The role requires translating complex technical concepts into clear business value for technical audiences and C-suite stakeholders, building cross-functional collaboration with Product, Business Development, and Customer Success, and staying ahead of industry trends. Travel within Mexico and LATAM is required; the position is remote with Monterrey, Mexico as the primary location.)
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales within cybersecurity, enterprise software, networking, or security
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Hands-on experience with WAF, Bot Management, or DDoS solutions
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English (B2+) and Spanish
- Practical experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Knowledge of HSMs, Web Application Security, or related certifications
- Familiarity with PCI, SOX, HIPAA
