Job Summary
CyberEd.io seeks a Cybersecurity Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform, develop containerized environments with Docker, implement CI/CD pipelines, and build hands-on cybersecurity labs across global environments. You’ll translate training content into cloud-deployable formats, standardize lab architectures for reuse, collaborate with SMEs to develop technical and executive training environments, and leverage AI tools to accelerate development. You will deploy and manage environments across regions and time zones, ensure platform reliability, security, and cost efficiency, and support live training with real-time troubleshooting. The role combines cloud engineering, cybersecurity, and technical enablement to power global cybersecurity training for enterprise and academic clients.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud engineering, or DevSecOps
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, AMIs, networking, IAM)
- Terraform or similar IaC tools
- Docker / Docker Compose
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub preferred)
- Strong understanding of networking, systems, and security fundamentals
- Experience working with technical environments or lab-based systems
