Job Summary
Maintain the integrity, security, and availability of the Insider Threat software tool by organizing threat analysis reports and implementing software modifications to meet design and performance requirements. Monitor various network logs, database repositories, and system operations to identify incidents, resolve performance issues, and ensure compatibility with enterprise applications. Perform regularly scheduled database backups, conduct baseline audits, develop simple queries, and assist the Government in building and deploying software enhancements. Provide training, make minor modifications to correct errors, and test new releases to ensure full compatibility. Requires a current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity, and 5+ years of Cybersecurity Threat Analysis experience. Located in Fort Meade, MD.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of Cybersecurity Threat Analysis experience in the following disciplines: Cybersecurity techniques and Network Analysis, Insider Threat Analysis software
- 1+ year with Splunk -- creating knowledge objects and robust queries/searches, along with creating reports and generating charts from the resulting queries/searches
- Experience with TCP/IP fundamentals, Windows Operating Systems and supporting Office applications, real-world incident management and incident response
- Must have a current/ active TS/SCI w/ Poly
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
- Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
- Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
- Must be able to frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
