Job Summary
Lead cybersecurity operations supporting cloud-hosted and virtualized infrastructure for Department of State missions. Manage Risk Management Framework activities, develop System Security Plans, and ensure compliance with NIST 800-53, FISMA, and FedRAMP standards. Direct vulnerability management, incident response, and threat mitigation while coordinating security audits and penetration testing. Provide technical leadership across engineering and operations teams, collaborate with government stakeholders, and support Zero Trust implementation initiatives. Develop cybersecurity metrics and executive reports for leadership. Requires Secret or Top Secret clearance and 10+ years of federal cybersecurity experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, or related discipline
- 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, including leadership or management responsibilities
- Experience supporting Department of State, DoD, or other federal agencies
- Strong knowledge of RMF, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, FISMA, Zero Trust, and cloud security
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Government, AWS GovCloud, VMware environments, and enterprise security tools
- Current Security+ CE and CISSP certification (or ability to obtain as required)
- Active security clearance (Secret or Top Secret)
