Job Summary
Lead and manage cybersecurity program as ISSM for a government information system; provide oversight of the ISSO team, ensure compliance with DoD/Air Force RMF and information security requirements, advise the PM/AO/ISO, and support a hybrid on-site schedule from Herndon, VA or Colorado Springs, CO. Requires 5 years as an ISSM or 7 years as a Sr. ISSO, RMF expertise, hands-on information protection in unclassified environments, experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, ELK Stack, CrowdStrike), infrastructure and cloud security tooling (Terraform/Ansible, GitHub), and a Bachelor's Degree in a related field. U.S. citizenship with an active Top Secret clearance is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, related field
- U.S. Citizenship with an active Top Secret security clearance
- 5 year’s experience as an ISSM or 7 year’s experience as a Sr. ISSO
- Subject Matter Expertise in Risk Management Framework
- Hands-on experience enforcing information protection policies in an unclassified environment
- Extensive experience in SIEM tools: Splunk, Sentinel, ELK Stack, CrowdStrike
- Experience with Terraform/Ansible, Github
- CASP+ CE, CSSLP, CISSP
- Strong experience with DoD and Air Force RMF
- Proficient with a major cloud services platform (GCP, Azure, AWS)
