Job Summary
Directs the execution of short- to mid-term operational plans for cybersecurity engineering, aligning team objectives with senior leadership strategies. Manages the design, development, and deployment of cybersecurity solutions and frameworks, coordinating threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing to ensure measurable risk reduction. Oversees the integration of information security technologies, providing input on security issues and risk trade-offs while partnering with internal teams and external vendors to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. Directs crisis management, incident response, and forensic activities, ensuring adherence to defined playbooks and capturing lessons learned. Develops and coaches lower-level managers and senior engineers, reinforcing expectations for delivery and performance. Contributes to technology and risk management decisions, translating established strategies into detailed, executable plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience in cybersecurity, information technology, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in security engineering or related cybersecurity roles
- Deep expertise in cybersecurity principles, threat modeling, security testing, and penetration testing
- Experience with information security technologies, configuration management, and operational handoff
- Advanced management and leadership knowledge to manage multiple teams and drive tactical and operational security initiatives
- English (Required)
