Cybersecurity Engineer w/Secret Clearance

Job Summary
Perform a variety of routine project tasks applying specialized cybersecurity solutions to resolve total system problems. Analyze information security requirements and apply systematic approaches to resolve workflow, organization, and planning issues. Provide security engineering support for the planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems. Integrate electronic processes or methodologies to address cybersecurity requirements within federal environments, including the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and military organizations. Work primarily in a remote office setting with occasional on-site meetings at Fort Belvoir, supporting day shift schedules Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Ten (10) years of relevant IT experience
- Five (5) years of relevant Operation Technology
- Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments
- This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations
- DoD 8570 IAT Level III Baseline Certification
- CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner with Continuing Education (CASP+ CE)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP Security)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP or Associate)
- GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED)
- GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
- Information Assurance system Architect and Engineering (IASAE Level III)
- CISSP-ISSAP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional - Information Systems Security Architecture Professional)
- CISSP-ISSEP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional - Information Systems Security Engineering Professional)
- Microsoft Certified solutions Associate or Expert
- Cisco Certified Network Administrator
- Microsoft Azure Security Technologies
- Amazon Certified Security
- Secret- IT-II
- U.S. Citizen
- Secret – IT-II (Tier 3)
- Must be available for evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape
