Job Summary
Conduct hands-on threat modeling to uncover vulnerabilities and translate security principles into concrete architectural improvements for applications, data, and infrastructure. Partner with system owners to analyze design decisions, guide teams in building security from the ground up, and resolve tradeoffs between security controls and business requirements. Leverage an offensive security background to dive deep into technical details, develop tailored security solutions, and teach others about threat modeling. Collaborate across the firm on risk analysis, security governance, and cyber awareness while documenting decision-making rationale.
Required Qualifications
- Offensive security background
- Can help build and implement secure solutions from the ground up
- Equally comfortable breaking down complex problems on a whiteboard and taking a hands-on approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting
- Skilled at evaluating security tradeoffs and making risk-based decisions
- An excellent communicator who thrives on talking to people and building relationships
- A collaborative mindset
- Ability to teach others and transfer knowledge about threat modeling
- Strong Linux background
- Confident in your scripting ability
- Comfortable taking accountability
- Able to document your decision-making rationale
- Fluency in English
