Job Summary
The Security Engineer II is responsible for ensuring the integrity of ThedaCare’s computer network by implementing and maintaining security measures. Key responsibilities include monitoring and managing security software, conducting risk assessments, leading incident response and forensic activities, and automating risk reporting. Candidates should have strong experience with Endpoint Management Systems like Tanium, along with skills in scripting (PowerShell and Python), incident response, and vulnerability management across hybrid environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree with 2 years relevant experience or minimum of 6 years progressive experience in information technology
- Five years of experience in information technology
- Security certifications preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Endpoint Management Systems, particularly Tanium
- Expertise in Incident Response, Threat Response, and Threat Hunting
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Python scripting
- Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) platforms
- Familiarity with Rapid7 Exposure Command

- Ability to move freely and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance
