Job Summary
Perform a variety of routine project tasks applying specialized cybersecurity methodologies to resolve system problems. Analyze information security requirements and provide engineering support for the planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems. Implement modern security solutions such as blockchain or related cryptographic research while maintaining workflow, organization, and planning standards. This role supports Engineering Support for DLP and FCA, deploying and operationalizing data loss prevention technologies for Federal Government customers. The position requires an Active Secret, IT-II (T3) clearance with eligibility for IT-I (T5), seven years of relevant IT experience, and specific certifications including CCNA Security, CySA+, or GICSP.
Required Qualifications
- Seven (7) years of relevant IT experience
- Experience implementing modern security solutions (e.g., Blockchain or related cryptographic research)
- IAT Level II Certification – one of the following: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CNDSP-IS Certification
- CNDSP-IS Certification – one of the following: CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), EC-Council Certified Network Defender (CND), EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA Cloud+
- Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
- Computing environment certification - examples listed below: MS Azure Fundamentals, CCST IT Support, Azure Data Engineer Associate
- Vendor Specific Certification - one of the following: Microsoft Purview, Forcepoint DLP, Forcepoint DSPM
- Actve Secret, IT-II (T3) clearance and eligibility for an IT-I (T5) clearance
- US Citizen
- Schedule is day shift Monday – Friday. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
- Amount of Travel: up to 10%
- The employee is regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds.
- The employee is frequently required to lift up to 25 pounds; and up to 50 pounds.
