Job Summary
Senior Cybersecurity Engineer responsible for conducting RMF-aligned assessments across Mosaic applications, delivering mitigation strategies, supporting SOPs and training materials, evaluating architectures for vulnerabilities and secure-design gaps, and enabling secure designs through virtualization and containerization (Kubernetes/AWS). Will automate testing and workflows with Python and PowerShell, produce system documentation and diagrams, and collaborate with DevOps, cloud, and systems-engineering teams to support mission readiness; requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and a Bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network engineering, or systems engineering within classified environments
- Experience conducting security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and performing RMF-aligned analysis
- Experience customizing NIST SP 800-53 controls for complex or air-gapped system architectures
- Experience with containerization platforms such as AWS or Kubernetes
- Experience with Linux distributions such as Kali, RedHat, and CentOS
- Experience scripting and automating using Python and PowerShell
- Experience generating SOPs, system documentation, and technical artifacts
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional mission stakeholders
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree
