Job Summary
Cybersecurity Engineer - IAM role focusing on design, development, and operations of the identity and access management platform. Responsible for provisioning and de-provisioning, entitlements, attestation and auditing, integration of applications via RESTful APIs, JDBC, flat files, or connectors, automating identity workflows, maintaining the IAM platform configurations, and contributing to security incident response. Collaborates with HRIS, IT service owners, and service desk to automate and govern identity-related workflows; requires hands-on experience with OAuth, SAML, OpenID, MFA, SCIM provisioning, and cloud/SaaS identity implementations. Emphasizes zero-trust identity architecture, lifecycle management, and governance with strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript), and familiarity with Azure AD/AD, PII/security controls, and related security frameworks (NIST).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years in Information Technology, ideally with a focus on information security
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in identity and access management or cybersecurity
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field
- Experience scripting in at least one of: PowerShell, Python, JavaScript
- Experience with deployment and support of Zero Trust Identity architecture and infrastructure
- Strong understanding of servers, operating systems, networks, firewalls, cloud applications, and infrastructure
- Experience in automation and integration with SaaS applications
- Understanding of OAuth, SAML and OpenID frameworks
- Experience in lifecycle management and provisioning and de-provisioning
- Knowledge of MFA and privileged identity management concepts
- Knowledge of just-in-time provisioning, least privilege
- Experience with REST APIs and integration
- Familiarity with SCIM provisioning and integration
- Experience working with HRIS, IT service owners, and service desk for identity workflows
- Knowledge of identity governance workflows (attestation and auditing)
- Experience with Azure AD, Active Directory, AD Connect
- Scripting in PowerShell or Python
- Experience with GraphQL or RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST) and continuous improvement loops
- Experience with logging/monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk)
- Experience with credential management and PAM
- Knowledge of IAM platforms like SailPoint, Okta, PingFederate
- Experience with cloud security and IAM in SaaS environments
