Job Summary
Implement and maintain security protocols while monitoring and responding to security incidents. Design and deploy secure networks, ensure compliance with security standards, and perform risk assessments and vulnerability management. Develop and enforce security policies, utilizing proficiency in cybersecurity tools, encryption methods, and network security protocols to address evolving threats. This role supports a growing small business and trusted federal contractor offering full scope consulting services in information technology, cybersecurity, and analyst workforce development.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI Full Poly clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's Degree
- Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Assurance, Digital Forensics, Cryptography, Telecommunications, Cyber Operations, Applied Mathematics, Computer Programming, Security Management, Artificial Intelligence
- 4-5 years experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree
- Proficiency in cybersecurity tools (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Strong knowledge of encryption methods
- Experience with network security protocols
- Expertise in malware detection and prevention
- Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
- Ability to perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with cloud security platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of DevSecOps principles
- Experience with scripting or programming languages
- Understanding of emerging cyber threats and trends
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to conduct digital forensics and incident investigation
