Cybersecurity Director

Define and execute the company-wide cybersecurity vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap while aligning initiatives with business objectives and go-to-market plans. Establish enterprise security governance frameworks including NIST and FEDRAMP, oversee risk management programs, and manage third-party vendor risk. Lead the evolution toward AI-driven security operations and define secure-by-design standards for autonomous robotics, embedded systems, and IoT devices. Ensure robust incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery programs while providing executive oversight during major security incidents. Build and lead a high-performing cybersecurity team and act as the primary security advisor to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders. Partner with Legal, IT, Engineering, and Operations to drive security across the organization and represent Knightscope in customer, partner, and government security discussions.
