Job Summary
Senior Cybersecurity Director leading the firm’s cybersecurity team to develop and execute security strategy, oversee security monitoring and incident response, govern policies and standards, and design the security architecture across endpoints, cloud, logging, and threat detection. Responsible for vulnerability management, phishing/testing programs, and collaboration with IT and business stakeholders to embed security into processes and systems. Will drive security initiatives, incident documentation and post-incident analysis, participate in DR/BCP tabletop exercises, and oversee security program improvements. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred) and 8-10 years in cybersecurity with 10-15 years in technology; certifications such as CISSP/CISA/CEH are a plus; strong knowledge of SIEM, firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS); familiarity with regulatory standards (ISO 27001, GDPR) and DevSecOps integration; excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
- 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity with 10-15 years overall in the technology industry
- Experience developing cybersecurity strategy for technology organizations
- Expertise in security frameworks, protocols, and products
- Experience managing and influencing third-party security vendors
- Demonstrable experience leveraging native security capabilities of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Understanding of TCP/IP and OSI stack and its impact on security
- Experience defining and implementing processes for higher-quality control through integration & automation
- CISSP/CISA/CEH or equivalent a plus
- Strong knowledge of SIEM, firewalls, VPNs, and proxies
- Experience with Windows, Mac, Linux operating systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
