Job Summary
Cybersecurity Architect responsible for leading the strategic planning and management of DCI's global security framework. Architect, evaluate, and maintain security controls across Cloud Security, IAM/PAM, EDR, SOC, SIEM, and GRC; define target-state and transition architectures aligned to regulatory requirements and business objectives; provide advisory leadership as the architectural authority to ensure consistent, gap-free security implementations; identify and remediate architectural risks related to MSP tool ownership, control-plane dependencies, and SOC continuity; review configurations conceptually for security design correctness and data flow; prioritize high-risk gaps, plan pragmatic remediations, and lead program management with internal teams and external partners; ensure Zero Trust and secure-by-design principles are applied safely; maintain security architecture standards and reference patterns; collaborate with Legal/HR to comply with GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA; supports leadership with options and trade-offs across security initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity
- at least 3 years specifically in a security architecture or senior engineering role
- Proven experience with cloud security (AWS preferred), IAM/PAM solutions, and SOC/SIEM operations
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or CISM highly preferred
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles, risk management, and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical risks to senior leadership
