Job Summary
Cybersecurity Architect III at JPMorgan Chase leads independent analysis and reporting of security risks to protect data, applications, and infrastructure; conducts reviews of existing security controls with minimal oversight; identifies network-architecture gaps and documents threats and mitigations for small software applications; collaborates with cross-functional architect teams to implement technology solutions and communicates risk and mitigation options using best practices in support of the firm’s business objectives; contributes to a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect; requires strong practical experience across system design, development, testing, and operational stability, proficiency in coding, and solid knowledge of IT risk management, SDLC, and agile practices; preferred familiarity with cloud technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience creating cybersecurity solutions based on existing security parameters
- Ability to evaluate current cybersecurity technologies to optimize architecture
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Proficient in coding in one or more languages
- Strong working knowledge of information and network security, IT risk management, and architectural concepts and patterns
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes (cloud, AI/ML, mobile, etc.)
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
- Exposure to cloud technologies
