Job Summary
Tier 2 Cybersecurity Analyst role focused on leading in-depth investigations of escalated security alerts from SIEM with AI-driven analytics, coordinating with Threat Intelligence and stakeholders, and maintaining incident response playbooks in a 12-hour shift environment. Responsibilities include analyzing complex security incidents, advising on technical countermeasures, and upholding escalation procedures and SLAs. The role emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning in AI applications to cybersecurity, and contributing to DXC’s security posture.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/certifications
- Experience with SIEM/SOAR tools, log analysis, and cyber threat investigations
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts and their application in cybersecurity operations; hands-on experience with AI-driven tools is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Preferred Certifications such as Security+, GSEC, GCIA, GCIH, or CISSP
- Familiarity with frameworks like NIST and MITRE ATT&CK
