Job Summary
Cybersecurity Analyst Sr contract role with Fidelity Canada requiring a bachelor’s degree and Canadian work authorization. Based in Toronto (until late 2026) then Mississauga; remote schedule supported within Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement. You will support risk mitigation for Fidelity’s Cyber Defense Operations by analyzing security logs and data to identify anomalies, executing incident response processes, and maintaining security tools (e.g., malware detection, IDS/IPS, DLP, anti-spam). You’ll coordinate rule/signature updates, assess vulnerabilities, perform event correlation and reporting, lead or participate in cyber incident detection and response, and contribute to cybersecurity awareness and training. Strong knowledge of incident response lifecycle, threat landscape, and security tooling, with demonstrated ability to identify threats, assess root cause, and collaborate across teams. Provincial hourly compensation ranges from $54.00 to $71.00; this is a contract, hourly-based position with Canada-specific deployment and on-site components in Toronto/Mississauga as part of a remote-enabled schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a related field
- 3 years relevant experience in Information Security or Cybersecurity
- 2 years’ relevant experience in incident response in SOC environment
- Experience leading cyber incident response
- Experience in threat hunting
- Certifications: OSCP CASP ISACA CDPSE SANS 504: Security Incident Responder GCIH SANS 503: Intrusion Detection SANS 500: Windows Forensic Analysis SANS GREM SANS GXPN
- Work authorization for Canada
