Cybersecurity Analyst - NSC

Job Summary
Continuously monitor security access and alarms, analyze potential threats and respond promptly to security breaches, incidents, and system irregularities. Perform regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities. Collect and analyze risk intelligence to understand emerging cyber threats and remain updated on the latest security trends and dangers to protect the organization proactively. Document all security incidents, actions taken, outcomes for future reference, compliance requirements, and reporting occurrences to relevant stakeholders and authorities as required. Performs other related duties as assigned. Travel 33-50% is required. Requires IAT II Certification and Active SECRET clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required.
Required Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or similar role
- Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques
- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus and IDPS concepts
- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities
- Possess IAT II Certification
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Successful experience working in a team environment
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position due to government contract requirements
- Security Requirement: Active SECRET Security Clearance
- Travel Required: 33-50%
