Cybersecurity Analyst on the Scan Team responsible for performing regular security scans on Linux, Windows, and tactical systems using STIGs/SCAP and proprietary tools; conducting code scans to identify vulnerabilities; analyzing results, prioritizing remediation, and generating detailed reports with actionable recommendations; maintaining documentation and collaborating with senior team members to improve scanning processes and security posture; opportunity to grow in cybersecurity with hands-on experience in defense systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with 4-8+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree in related field.
- Security+ CE certification (or equivalent) to meet 8570.01 IAT Level II requirements.
- Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
- US Citizenship required and must be eligible to obtain and maintain secret security clearance.
