Job Summary
Develop and implement risk management approach documentation in compliance with DOE Order 205.1B and the Cyber Security Program. Evaluate and manage cybersecurity risks to protect information systems, providing recommendations to senior management on safeguard enhancements. Create, review, and validate cybersecurity policies, plans, standards, and procedures to ensure alignment with applicable requirements. Conduct recurring cybersecurity assessments of information systems for the Self-Assessment Program while maintaining an accurate Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M). Prepare Interim Authority to Operate (IATO) and Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation for submission to the Authorizing Official. Plan and coordinate cybersecurity inspections, testing activities, and reviews to support compliance. Requires 1+ year of experience supporting a DOE project, Microsoft Office proficiency, and a DOE Q Security Clearance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience in a cybersecurity role supporting a Department of Energy (DOE) project
- Experience working with DOE Cybersecurity directives and their application to unclassified, sensitive unclassified, and classified information systems
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows XP, Windows 7, and Windows Server operating systems and communication protocols
- United States Citizenship
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Security Clearance
