Job Summary
Hands-on Cybersecurity Analyst at a startup environment focusing on internal security operations, GRC execution and audit support, product-management collaboration, and security automation. Responsibilities include managing identity and access, endpoint security, cloud configurations, threat modelling, security design reviews, risk assessments, and mapping security controls to frameworks (NIST, ISO, SOC 2, CPS 230). Requires scripting能力 (Python/Bash), understanding OWASP Top 10, SDLC/CI/CD, and an AI-enabled approach to accelerating research and reporting. Emphasis on direct impact to internal safety and the product's security capabilities; hybrid work arrangement based in Sydney, Australia.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity (SecOps, AppSec, GRC, or Consulting)
- proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash)
- understanding of OWASP Top 10
- familiarity with frameworks (NIST, ISO)
- experience with cloud configurations and security controls
- ability to map technical controls to business risks
