Job Summary
Design, develop, integrate, test, certify, and accredit security solutions for Department of Defense or intelligence systems while supporting acquisition programs. Apply the Risk Management Framework (ICD 503) for IT system accreditation and ensure compliance with DOD 8140.01, DFARS 252.239.7001, and AR 25-2 training requirements. Maintain baseline IAM Level III or IAT Level III certifications and perform physical system configuration to STIG standards. Requires TS/SCI clearance, a bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent experience, with standard Monday-Friday operating hours and minimal travel.
Required Qualifications
- Active and current TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
- Associate's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field + 4 additional years of work experience
- High school diploma or equivalent and 6 additional years of work experience
- DOD 8140.01, Cyberspace Workforce Management
- DFARS 252.239.7001, Information Assurance Contractor Training and Certification
- AR 25-2, Information Assurance
- IAM Level III or IAT Level III baseline certification
- IAW DOD 8570.01 certification
- 7+ years of progressively complex cybersecurity experience in the design, development, integration, test, certification, and accreditation of security solutions for DOD or IC intelligence systems
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience supporting DOD acquisition programs / projects
- 1+ years experience in applying Risk Management Framework (ICD 503) for the accreditation of DOD or IC Information Technology Systems
- Compliance with DOD and Army training requirements in DOD 8140.01, Cyberspace Workforce Management; DFARS 252.239.7001, Information Assurance Contractor Training and Certification; AR 25-2, Information Assurance
- Subject to investigative and assignment requirements IAW AR 25-2, AR 380-67, Personnel Security Program, and related regulations
Desired Qualifications
- 4+ years as an ISSO
- System Administrator experience
- 4+ years as an ISSM (Level 2 or level 3)
- Experience physically configuring a system/network or device to STIG standards or experience verifying those settings
- Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
