Job Summary
Design and complete security programs for clients by conducting requirements gathering, technology selection analysis, and solution demonstrations. Facilitate thought leadership and guide stakeholders through security roadmaps aligned with business goals and ROI metrics. Drive quota objectives by qualifying leads, managing proposals, responding to RFPs, and identifying cross-sell opportunities across the Optiv portfolio. Collaborate with internal service delivery teams and external partners to ensure consistent solution delivery and client satisfaction. Maintain advisory relationships with key client stakeholders while actively pursuing personal development in threat management and related security domains.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA or equivalent and/or applicable work experience
- Minimum of five (5) years in an information security role focused on Threat Management
- Expertise in the following areas: Application Security Tools, Vulnerability Management, Threat Management / Hunting, Enterprise Incident Management, Forensics / eDiscovery, Threat Intelligence Platforms, Asset Management
- CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, GIAC or other relevant professional cybersecurity certifications
- Experience speaking and evangelizing technology vision at events
- Ability to travel around 25% or as needed
- Vendor specific certification(s) focused primarily on the specialty
Desired Qualifications
- preferably as a consulting advisor, architect, or engineer
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Data Protection & AI; Cloud Security/DevSecOps; Endpoint Security; Identity; Network Security; Operations (SOC, SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, Threat Intelligence)
