Job Summary
Cyber Underwriter role within Markel's Cyber Team based in London. The team focuses on international, UK-domiciled and US Wholesale business, with a flexible and innovative underwriting approach. Responsibilities include raising the profile of Markel in Cyber, broker development and management of Cyber portfolio, drafting and challenging wordings/clauses, collaborating with claims colleagues to maximise opportunities, contributing to product innovation, analysing competitors, and actively developing broker relationships and pipelines while managing renewal book in line with appetite and strategy. The role requires strong experience in cyber underwriting, data analysis, actuarial concepts, and client/broker relationship management.
