Job Summary
Monitor, collect, and analyze cyber threat intelligence focused on Eastern Europe to identify emerging threats, adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures. Conduct strategic and tactical assessments to evaluate risks to systems and networks, then leverage platforms like Google Threat Intelligence and the MITRE ATT&CK Framework to enrich data. Research nation-state and APT actors, correlate multiple sources to distinguish credible threats, and produce finished intelligence reports and executive briefings for policymakers and leadership. Analyze incidents to determine attacker intent and develop actionable recommendations to enhance defensive operations. Maintain awareness of geopolitical developments in Eastern Europe and collaborate with incident responders to support threat detection and mitigation efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Eastern Europe-focused geopolitical and cyber threat intelligence experience
- Experience with cyber threat intelligence analysis principles in a government or commercial environment
- Knowledge of current and emerging Eastern Europe-related cyber adversaries and their techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTP)
- Ability to convert raw cyber data into actionable intelligence-in written narrative and tactical data formats-following intelligence analysis tradecraft standards
- Experience with creating and presenting succinct briefings, presentations, and reports to technical and executive leadership that convey analysis, threat trends, impacts to targets, defensive strategies, and prioritization
- Knowledge of information security and information technology threats, attacks, and vulnerabilities in a cybersecurity context
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS Diploma or GED and 18+ years of experience with cybersecurity or cyber threat intelligence, Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of experience with cybersecurity or cyber threat intelligence, or Master's degree and 12+ years of experience with cybersecurity or cyber threat intelligence
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and analytical skills
