Job Summary
Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join the LATAM-focused Cybercrime Research team. Responsible for researching major threats affecting the LATAM region, analyzing threat actors from the dark web and open sources, and developing a regional Threat Landscape to support efforts against cybercrime. Tasks include analyzing IOCs and TTPs of LATAM threat actors (banking trojan, remote access trojan, etc.), crafting and documenting detection opportunities in the Threat Intelligence platform, managing details about threat actors’ TTPs and opsec, creating useful alerts and context-rich analysis for customers, researching current threats and industry trends in LATAM, driving detection-content initiatives from threat hunts, and developing mitigation/countermeasure strategies aligned with MITRE ATT&CK mappings. Required skills include a genuine passion for cybercrime investigation, familiarity with LATAM threat landscape, knowledge of global/local cyber threats (ransomware, banking trojan, RATs, fraudsters), experience profiling threat actors, deep understanding of the darkweb ecosystem, scripting basics (Python, Bash), networking principles, OS architecture, strong written and spoken communication, and proficiency with sources such as VirusTotal, Urlscan, Shodan, RiskIQ, and public sandboxes. Fluency in Spanish and English is required. The role emphasizes flexible schedule and ongoing professional development within a globally active organization.
