Job Summary
Design, plan, implement, and perform assessment of security controls, policies, and processes compliance with NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and DoD RMF guidance. Assist with system security architecture implementation and provide advanced technical analyses of cyber infrastructure challenges to develop responsive solutions. Participate in team reviews of technical requirements and design plans prior to deployment while serving as a Cyber Security engineer supporting high-level expertise. Configure and implement Rapid 7, Trellix, and Splunk technologies. Requires active/current Top Secret/SCI clearance with adjudicated Full Scope Polygraph and relevant experience in requirements development and system integration. Level 3 or 4 position with salary ranging from $125,300 to $234,600, located in Aurora, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Active/current Top Secret/SCI clearance with adjudicated Full Scope Polygraph at time of application
- Experience with requirements development, derivation, system integration & test and validation and verification
- Currently valid Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar security certification
- Experience in configuring and implementing Rapid 7, Trellix and Splunk among other industry standard technologies
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience
- Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience
- PhD with 1 year of relevant experience
- Additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience
- Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience
- PhD with 4 years of relevant experience
- Additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- DoD 8570/8140 compliant IAM II/III and/or IASAE I+ baseline certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP+ CE, CSSLP, etc.)
- DoD 8500-series and 8510.01 IA policy directives, approaches to cyber security, knowledge of security procedures, IATT and ATO requirements
