Job Summary
Role involves architecting and implementing RMF-based cybersecurity for space systems across ground, communications, and space segments; contribute to system security engineering, attack surface analysis, and documentation such as SSPs and POA&Ms; deploy and maintain security products, ensure compliance with DoD/IC requirements, and support certification activities. Requires TS/SCI clearance, on-site work in Dulles, VA, and collaboration across IPTs to safeguard national security space missions. candidates should have RMF experience, STIG/ACAS/NESSUS familiarity, and strong engineering discipline knowledge. Optional Masters/combo with BS acceptable; role supports relocation.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in engineering (Electrical or Software preferred) or equivalent experience (Masters accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Cyber/SSE experience
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI
- US Citizenship is required
- Experience RMF process from system categorization through continuous monitoring
- Experience with DISA STIG, HBSS/ESS, ACAS/Tenable Nessus
- Experience with System Security Engineering and RMF requirements management
- Ability to prepare Certification To Field (CTF) procedures and perform security assessments
- Experience with vulnerability scanning and patch management in Windows/Red Hat environments
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills
