Cyber Systems Engineer / ISSO

Act as the Information Systems Security Approval Authority for systems under your purview, leading or supporting the full lifecycle of system security operations. Provide technical guidance and compliance expertise across Information Assurance initiatives while planning, coordinating, and enforcing cybersecurity best practices. Maintain a strong operational security posture by supporting daily security operations, including continuous monitoring, incident response, and log analysis. Perform detailed vulnerability and risk assessments to support Certification & Accreditation efforts and oversee configuration management, system changes, and associated Security Impact Assessments. Develop and implement security policies, standards, and methodologies to meet federal requirements, and lead the creation of essential documentation such as System Security Plans and Risk Assessment Reports.
