Job Summary
Cyber Software Engineer needed to support a U.S. Government customer with on-site incident response and mission-focused software development. Responsibilities include designing, troubleshooting, and implementing code for end-to-end software development and service integrations; developing and integrating software stacks for on-premise and cloud-based tools; troubleshooting production problems; researching and coordinating integration of new products; automating deployments, testing, and builds with IaC tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Git-CI; improving documentation and development standards; ensuring quality control through staged testing and pipelines; configuring COTS, GOTS, and open-source tech to meet mission needs; and working within Linux-based, container-heavy environments including OpenShift, RHEL, Alma, and Docker. Required skills include U.S. Citizenship and active Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred), 2+ years in applications development, secure SDLC and versioning practices, experience with COTS products, Python and Linux terminals, RESTful architecture, data ETL workflows, and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) with IaC (Ansible, Git-CI, CloudFormation, Terraform). Educational options include BS in a related field or HS Diploma with relevant experience; strong communication and customer-facing abilities are essential.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active Secret clearance; TS/SCI preferred
- 2+ years of directly relevant experience in applications development
- Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle and code versioning and maintenance
- Experience with integrating commercial off the shelf (COTS) products
- Operational experience with Python and Linux terminals
- Experience with containerization software including Kubernetes, Docker
- Experience with IaC including Ansible, Git-CI, CloudFormation, Terraform
- Strong communication skills and experience interacting with customers in a project environment
- BS Computer Science/Engineering or related field (or HS Diploma + 4-6 years experience)

- BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Computer Information Systems/Related field or HS Diploma + 4-6 years relevant experience
- Desirable: CSSLP, Sec+ certifications
- Experience with CI/CD tooling and AWS or cloud ecosystems
