Job Summary
SOC analyst (Level 1 - Junior) to assist EY clients in detecting and responding to security incidents using SIEM, EDR and NSM tooling. Responsibilities include first-level monitoring and triaging of security alerts, initial data gathering and investigation, providing near real-time analysis, investigation and incident reporting for customers. Key skills include SIEM technologies (Splunk, Azure Sentinel, CrowdStrike Falcon LogScale), EDR (Defender, CrowdStrike, Carbon Black), NSM (Fidelis, ExtraHop), knowledge of network/endpoint protection tools, and certifications in SIEM platforms (CEH, ECSA, ECIH, Splunk Power User). Must have a B.E./B.Tech, be able to work 24x7 shifts, and possess strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- B. Tech./ B.E. with sound technical skills
- Ability to work in 24x7 shifts
- Strong command on verbal and written English language
- Hands-on experience in SIEM, EDR and NSM solution
- Certification in any of the SIEM platforms
- Knowledge of RegEx, Perl scripting and SQL query language
- Certification - CEH, ECSA, ECIH, Splunk Power User
