Job Summary
Cyber Security Test Engineer responsible for authoring test plans/procedures, analyzing cyber security data to identify non-compliant settings and vulnerabilities, supporting ISSEs, and improving testing processes on the MILSATCOM program at PSFB, USSF. Role requires collaboration within a small-team environment to tackle complex space-ground communications challenges, with emphasis on documenting findings, communicating with system developers, and contributing to cybersecurity posture assessments. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering/science, 3+ years in IAVM/STIG processes, DoD/space-aerospace experience, US citizenship, and eligibility to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or Cyber discipline
- 3+ years of experience with Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) processes
- 3+ years of experience in military, aerospace, DoD government, academia, or industry
- 3+ years of experience using DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and benchmarks
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a DoD SECRET Security Clearance
