Cyber Security Technician

Job Summary
Own Data Loss Prevention controls and automated policies across Azure, O365, and Defender for Cloud. Lead all threat hunting activity and serve as the first point of contact for managed SOC/SIEM security alerts to ensure appropriate action. Collaborate with Infrastructure IT to respond to virus and cyber alert warnings, while working with external SOC teams to fine-tune detections. Maintain third-party risk assessment processes, manage group programs for cyber accreditations, and track corrective action plans for impacted controls. Enhance cyber reporting and improve security capabilities within the bank's Cyber and Information Security team.
Required Qualifications
- A relevant technical (cloud) or information/cyber security qualification
- Working knowledge and/or experience of security frameworks such as: NIST, CE+, CIS and ISO
- Experience crafting queries and managing alerts from a SOC/SIEM platform
- Hands on cloud security and Data Loss Management administration experience (Azure, Defender for Cloud & AWS)
- Excellent reporting skills
