Job Summary
Lead cloud security governance, risk, and compliance for MUFG's Enterprise Information Systems across multi-cloud and on-premises environments. Act as an individual contributor within the first line of defense, driving risk management initiatives, reviewing risk assessments, and translating cloud security concepts into concise executive reports for senior leadership. Responsibilities include Cloud & Cyber Risk Management, Cybersecurity Controls & Reporting, and Cyber Risk Quantification; auditing cloud technologies and on-prem systems; and staying current with regulatory changes affecting cloud security. Requires 6–10+ years of experience in cloud information security governance and IT audit, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field. Visa sponsorship is not anticipated for this position. The role may involve hybrid work with four days in the Jersey City office and one remote day.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security or a closely related discipline, or equivalent related experience
- 6–10+ years of experience across risk management, cloud information security governance, and/or IT audit
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and provider integrations
- Experience auditing cloud technologies and producing executive-ready reports
- High technical knowledge across cybersecurity domains (IAM, Data Security, Configuration Management, Log Generation, Incident Response, Security risk Assessment/Testing Methodologies, Secure SDLC)
- Knowledge of banking regulations (Reg W, Basel II, FFIEC, GDPR) and enforcement agency oversight experience
- Professional certifications in major cloud providers for security
