Job Summary
The Cyber Security Strategy Supervisor will oversee delivery and management of varied cybersecurity engagements, manage key client accounts, and conduct cybersecurity governance and compliance assessments. Responsibilities include advising clients on security budget allocation, developing operating models for cybersecurity programs, and leading multi-year security roadmaps. Candidates should have 5-8 years of experience, strong leadership skills in cybersecurity, knowledge of compliance frameworks such as NIST and ISO, and excellent communication skills. A willingness to travel up to 30% is required.
Required Qualifications
- 5 - 8 years of experience in cybersecurity
- Building, leading and developing high performing teams
- Supporting or operating as a virtual CISO for mid-market clients
- Managing budgets and resource allocation
- Executing cyber program assessments including risk assessments
- Developing prioritized observations and strategic roadmaps
- High degree of integrity and confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of security data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for business stakeholders
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel up to 30% to client sites
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite of tools including Excel, OneNote
- Understanding of secure cloud architecture and design
- Practical hands-on experience with IT infrastructure components such as servers, firewalls, IDS systems
- Practical hands-on experience with security tools, such as vulnerability scanning solutions, SIEM, EDR
- Practical hands-on experience with digital identity tools such as Okta, SailPoint, Saviynt
- Experience using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- One or more security focused certifications: CISSP, CISA, or CISM
- One or more project management certifications: CAPM or PMP
- Certifications in business continuity, such as CBCP, ACBP
- Certifications in cybersecurity, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA
