Job Summary
Senior Cyber Security Specialist leading Essential Eight Maturity Level 1 and 2 gap assessments, remediation roadmaps, and broader cyber security compliance initiatives for Australian SMB clients. Role is client-facing and hands-on, with opportunities to contribute across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and infrastructure projects. Requires ability to assess risk, provide strategic guidance, and drive security uplift while collaborating with internal engineers and client stakeholders; will support workshops, technical reviews, and pre-sales engagements and apply security-first mindset to wider solution delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Senior-level cybersecurity experience
- Strong knowledge of the Essential Eight and Maturity Level 1 and 2 uplift
- Client-facing experience in cyber security, compliance, or hands-on security delivery
- Experience with Microsoft 365 security, Azure, networking, and on-prem infrastructure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Industry certifications such as CISSP or CISM and related credentials encouraged
