Job Summary
CSOC Tier 2 cybersecurity operations specialist responsible for 24x7 incident containment, eradication, and recovery actions, including malware/implant analysis and forensic artifact handling. Lead tasks such as containment measures, IP/domain blocks, and disabling user accounts under Government direction; coordinate with SI Office of Counterintelligence, Insider Threat, law enforcement, and counterintelligence personnel; produce incident reports and timelines; develop indicators of compromise; and contribute to daily/weekly security reporting. Role involves documentation in ticketing systems, development of scripts/tools for data collection and analysis, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders to ensure proper incident recovery across NGA networks and systems. Requires active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to obtain CI Poly and relevant DoD 8140/8570 certifications; willingness to work defined shifts and operate within a professional office environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen with an Active TS/SCI to start work and able to obtain a CI Poly within 6 months.
- Typically has a BA/BS or equivalent experience and a minimum 4 years of related work experience.
- Contractor personnel for CSOC Tier 3 must have a certification compliant with DoD 8140.01 and DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II and CSSP Analyst Certification.
- Ability to work 1 or more of 5 work shifts.
