Job Summary
Lead and evolve the enterprise cybersecurity program by developing the strategic roadmap, governing policies, and overseeing security operations for IT and operational technology environments. Own the cyber risk register, manage incident response activities, and conduct risk assessments across systems, operations, and third-party providers. Partner with engineering and operations teams to secure manufacturing technologies including SCADA and PLCs, while managing SOC and SIEM partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Advise executive leadership on risk priorities and drive continuous improvement through defined metrics and security awareness training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of cybersecurity, information security, or risk management experience
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience leading teams, programs, or enterprise-wide cybersecurity initiatives
- Ability to travel up to 20% as needed
- Remote candidates must have convenient access to a major commercial airport with consistent flight availability
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity disciplines, including security operations, risk management, governance, and security architecture
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and related industry standards
- Experience securing both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments
- Ability to translate technical cybersecurity risks into business impact and executive-level recommendations
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization
- Strong incident response, vulnerability management, and threat mitigation expertise
- Experience managing third-party security providers and services
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on program execution
Desired Qualifications
- Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC, or equivalent preferred
