Job Summary

Drive security planning, assessment, and risk management strategies while conducting comprehensive system security monitoring and auditing. Lead Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes for General Support Systems and Major Applications, preparing and reviewing Authorization Packages including SSP, SAR, POAM, and GCP. Collaborate with System Administrators to develop policy documentation for NIST controls and apply system security engineering expertise across domains such as system design and lifecycle management. Serve as a security engineering representative on cross-functional teams. Requires an active DoD Secret clearance, a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Security, and obtainable Security+ and Navy Qualified Validator certifications. Full-time role with up to 10% local travel.

Required Qualifications

  • An active DoD Secret clearance
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems Security or related field
  • Security+ certification must be obtainable
  • Navy Qualified Validator certification must be obtainable

Desired Qualifications

  • Proven Cybersecurity experience
  • Functional Qualified Validator certification
  • Experience with eMASS (Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service)
  • TS (Top Secret) Clearance
  • Proficiency in AWS PCI DSS compliance
  • Experience with commercial and government off-the-shelf cryptography solutions
