Job Summary

A detail-oriented Cyber Security Analyst within the IT Security team responsible for monitoring, detecting, analysing, and responding to cybersecurity incidents and threats. Plays a key role in protecting the organisation’s digital assets, systems, networks, and data against unauthorised access, breaches, and other security risks. Requires technical expertise in security technologies, incident response, and vulnerability management. Responsibilities include monitoring security alerts, conducting vulnerability assessments and audits, analysing logs/network traffic for suspicious activity, developing incident response procedures and policies, coordinating with IT/development teams to apply security patches, supporting security awareness training and phishing simulations, participating in threat intelligence, producing security reports, ensuring compliance with ISO 27001/NIST/Ccyr Essentials Plus, assisting in risk assessments and third-party security evaluations, and owning internal/external security audits (NIST, Pen testing, Cyber Essentials Plus).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional qualification or experience.
  • Proven experience in a cyber security role, with hands-on experience in security technologies and tools.
