Job Summary
Cybersecurity Analyst II responsible for planning and implementing security measures to safeguard computer systems, networks, and sensitive data supporting U.S. government missions. You will analyze security risks and incidents, develop a network disaster recovery plan, install and operate security software (firewalls, data encryption), collaborate with the security team to test for weaknesses, assess data tools via ACAS, and stay current on IT intelligence technologies and security standards. The role requires applying RMF processes, handling SBIR-style documentation such as SCTMs/POA&Ms, and ensuring readiness posture across DoD environments. Must have an active DoD Secret clearance and a Bachelor’s degree in a related STEM field with 3+ years of relevant experience; DoD 8570.1-M Security+ is required and CISSP/CASP+ or equivalent IAT level III is highly preferred. Travel up to 25% CONUS/OCONUS; office-based in Philadelphia, PA, with potential TDY/OCONUS considerations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent STEM degree
- 3+ years of experience; years may be substituted for degree
- DoD 8570.1-M Security+ required; CISSP, CASP+ or similar IAT lvl. III highly preferred
- IAM level II required
- 3+ years of performing analysis of logs and events
- 3+ years of automating processes through scripting and assessing impacts
- 3+ years of Windows Administration or Engineering experience
- Experience with NIST 800-53/A, NIST 800-37, CNSS 1253, NIST 800-60 Rev I&II
- 3+ years of RMF experience
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
