Job Summary
PKI Specialist sought to drive technical delivery of PKI initiatives within Maersk’s global IT landscape. You will roll out and integrate PKI solutions, manage certificate lifecycles, automate key and certificate management, perform daily service checks, respond to incidents, generate actionable reports on service health and risk, and collaborate with architects, engineers, and external partners to deliver cohesive solutions. You will influence design specifications, remove organizational impediments, document high-standard technical guidance, and support Product Owner communications regarding technical capabilities and debt repayment. The role emphasizes security, identity, and access management across hybrid environments, with a focus on automation, least privilege, and cross-team collaboration. Strong communication, leadership in design reviews, and an agile, results-oriented mindset are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of PKI, Access Management and Identity experience
- Experience with Venafi and/or similar Certificate Lifecycle Management
- Experience with Key Management Systems (Entrust Key Control)
- Knowledge of Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) and its security
- Experience managing Hardware Security Modules (HSM) (Thales/Entrust)
- Experience with managing Public DNS records and external DNS
- Strong scripting and automation capabilities
- Experience with PKI-enabled automation and integration using REST API and analytics APIs
- Knowledge of Identity Access management solutions and protocols
- Strong documentation skills (LLD/HLD, ReadMe, Confluence)
- Experience in cloud-based document management products
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and ITIL v3 is advantageous
- Experience leading reviews of designs and facilitating team collaboration
- Ability to assess risks, define implementation strategies, and drive projects to completion
- Willingness to work across teams and adapt to evolving technology
