Job Summary
Communicate the delivery roadmap to technology teams by articulating target personas, customer benefits, and feature value. Leverage technical knowledge in cybersecurity and systems engineering to support engineering teams and represent the customer voice. Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design and actively participate in research or design sessions. Contribute to backlog development by breaking down business epics, documenting user stories, and ensuring acceptance criteria are comprehensive. Prioritize the Product Backlog to maximize outcomes while balancing technical aspects with cyber and operational risk reduction. Act as a technical advisor to product managers and stakeholders while collaborating across cross-functional teams in Agile and SAFe ceremonies. Proactively identify opportunities when key metrics on security, resilience, and performance are not performing.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 4 years of experience working in cybersecurity or information technology
- At least 2 years of experience in Cloud Security with a focus on multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- At least 2 years of experience in product management
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience solving cyber technical challenges
- 5+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into products
- 2+ years of experience with AI Security frameworks, Agentic AI architectures, and the secure implementation/use of Model Context Protocol (MCP) Servers
- 2+ years of experience implementing security best practices for containerized workloads and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Amazon ECS)
- 3+ years of Cyber product owner experience
- 2+ years of experience in technical writing
- 2+ years of hands-on JIRA experience
- 3+ years of experience in scaled agile product management
- 1+ years of experience in regulated financial services organizations or tech companies
- 2 or more professional certifications (SAFe PM/PO, CISSP, GIAC, CISM, CCSP, AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Security)
