Job Summary
Synchronize cyberspace operations planning with OIE, IW, and sensitive activities objectives by integrating capabilities using JPP, MDMP, and joint doctrine. Develop executable cyber tasks, OPORD inputs, and annexes while incorporating intelligence and threat assessments to inform operational design. Advise leadership on risks, rules of engagement, and force requests, then establish performance measures to assess cyber contributions. Coordinate with U.S. Cyber Command, Joint Cyber Enterprise elements, and mission partners to produce decision-quality planning products. Requires TS/SCI with Polygraph, 7 years of planning experience, and familiarity with military decision-making processes. Full-time role with up to 25% local travel.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI security clearance with CI Poly
- Bachelor of Arts/Science in a relevant field
- 7 years' experience planning, coordinating, and synchronizing cyberspace operations at the CCMD, Service Component, Joint Task Force or similar level
- Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to produce executive-level documentation
- 10 years demonstrated experience with military planning processes including Joint Planning Process (JPP), military decision-making process, joint targeting process, and/or military campaign planning
- Familiarity with Cyber Subordinate Headquarters, Cyber Mission Teams (CMT), National Mission Teams (NMT), Combat Support Teams (CST), National Support Teams (NST), and Cyber Protection Teams (CPT)
- Must be able to travel up to 25%
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience supporting CMT, NMT, CST, NST, CPT, CYBERCOM or any of its subordinate Joint Force HQs-Cyber
- Demonstrated experience coordinating compartmented or sensitive operational activity with the IC, Interagency, Allies and/or Partners
- Graduate of Cyber Officer Basic Leader Course, Cyber Captains Career Course or Joint/Service equivalent
- Knowledgeable in intelligence disciplines, capabilities, limitations, and platforms and relevant Intelligence Community Directives
