Job Summary

Synchronize cyberspace operations planning with OIE, IW, and sensitive activities objectives by integrating capabilities leveraging JPP, MDMP, and joint/service cyber doctrine. Develop executable cyber tasks from strategic guidance, incorporating intelligence and threat assessments to inform operational design. Advise leadership on risks, policies, and requests for forces while establishing measures of performance to assess cyber contributions. Coordinate with U.S. Cyber Command, Joint Cyber Enterprise elements, and mission partners to synchronize operations, ensuring compliance with legal and policy constraints. Requires TS/SCI clearance, five years of experience planning at the CCMD or Service Component level, and ten years with military planning processes. Up to 25% local travel required.

Required Qualifications

  • TS/SCI security clearance
  • Bachelor of Arts/Science in a relevant field
  • 5 years' experience planning, coordinating, and synchronizing cyberspace operations at the CCMD, Service Component, Joint Task Force or similar level
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to produce executive-level documentation
  • 10 years demonstrated experience with military planning processes including Joint Planning Process (JPP), military decision-making process, joint targeting process, and/or military campaign planning
  • Familiarity with Cyber Subordinate Headquarters, Cyber Mission Teams (CMT), National Mission Teams (NMT), Combat Support Teams (CST), National Support Teams (NST), and Cyber Protection Teams (CPT)
  • Must be able to travel up to 25%
  • Must be available for weekend shifts

Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience supporting USASOC or Joint SOF organization
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating compartmented or sensitive operational activity with the IC, Interagency, Allies and/or Partners
  • Graduate of Cyber Officer Basic Leader Course, Cyber Captains Career Course or Joint/Service equivalent
  • Knowledgeable in intelligence disciplines, capabilities, limitations, and platforms and relevant Intelligence Community Directives
