Job Summary
Lead architecture, design, development, and deployment of secure, production-grade software capabilities using Python, Go, Node.js, or C#. Configure, operate, and troubleshoot physical and virtualized environments, including servers, endpoints, networking gear, and embedded devices. Integrate software with hardware systems, sensors, radios, industrial equipment, and IoT technologies while establishing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. Mentor engineers, conduct technical reviews, and support field testing, customer engagements, and technical demonstrations. Travel as needed to support customer sites, labs, and field activities. Requires 10+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or cyber operations, along with a Secret clearance.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with software engineering, systems engineering, or cyber operations
- 10+ years of experience designing, building, deploying, and sustaining production software systems
- Experience with a language such as Python, Go, Node.js, C#, Java, or C++
- Experience using generative AI and large language model tools
- Experience troubleshooting across software, operating systems, networking, virtualization, and hardware
- Experience configuring and managing virtualization and container platforms such as VMware, KVM, Docker, or Kubernetes
- Experience integrating software with physical devices, embedded systems, sensors, or industrial IoT equipment
- Experience applying secure engineering practices, including authentication, authorization, encryption, secrets management, and logging
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or 14+ years of experience with software engineering in lieu of a degree
- Travel as needed to support customer sites, labs, and field activities
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required

Desired Qualifications
- Experience developing and fielding new products in research, prototype, operational, defense, or industrial environments
- Experience conducting pen testing assessments or vulnerability research
- Experience programming constrained platforms such as embedded systems, microcontrollers, Raspberry Pi-class devices, or edge computers
- Experience with IoT architectures, device management, telemetry, sensor integration, and edge-to-cloud communications
- Experience integrating radios, satellite communications, serial devices, field networks, or tactical communications equipment
- Experience working with electrical components, wiring, power systems, instrumentation, or hardware troubleshooting
- Experience designing and operating physical testbeds, laboratory environments, cyber ranges, or field demonstrations
- Experience applying large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents, computer vision, or machine learning to operational use cases
- Knowledge of DevSecOps, zero trust architectures, secure software development frameworks, and relevant cybersecurity standards
